Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Residential Child Care Adult located in Worthing. The Residential Child Care Adult will be responsible for providing care and support to children in a residential setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. This includes developing and implementing care plans, assisting with daily activities, and fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Other day-to-day tasks include supervising and engaging with children, maintaining records, supporting educational and recreational activities, and working closely with other care professionals and families to support each child's development.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing care and support to children in a residential setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to implement and follow care plans
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with other care professionals and families
• Sound knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
• Relevant certifications in child care or social work are a plus
