Job Description
Summary:
The Residential Case Maintenance Worker/Child Advocate will work with the Residential Case Manager to provide follow-up case maintenance for established service plans and offer direct supportive services to children who have experienced domestic violence, using a trauma-informed approach. This position will assist in the administration and management of the shelter/transitional housing facility program in collaboration with the Director of Residential Services. The role includes case management and advocacy for victims and their children of domestic violence, assault, and human trafficking. Must be dedicated to the mission of YWCA York.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of PCAR/PCCD/PCADV advocate training within 90 days of employment.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in providing services to victims of domestic violence in crisis; strong decision-making skills; ability to supervise and collaborate with staff.

Full-time position, 11 am to 7 pm. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
