On offer is a fully funded, industry accredited training programme which offers you excellent specialist training in managing behaviours and the opportunity to complete Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare. This role offers clear progression pathways from Support Worker into managerial roles.

This is a role where you will be working with one of the most reputable care providers in the area and will benefit from ongoing training and support to ensure you have everything you need to succeed in the role.

Please note, this role will include working weekends, sleepovers, mornings, and evenings, so flexibility is required.

Responsibilities of the Residential Worker:

  • Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (including SEN or PRU schools, youth work, youth offending, children's social care - desirable as full training is provided)
  • Helping children with their emotional, physical, and developmental needs
  • Being an appropriate role model

  • Encouraging positive life experiences for children
