Job summary

Crystal Care Solutions seeks a committed Team Leader for a Residential Children’s Home. You will lead shifts and support staff to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care aligned with individual care plans.

Together with the Registered Manager, you will manage daily operations, safeguarding, and home standards while building strong relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies. A proactive leader with excellent planning and communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Level 3 in Children and Young People Residential Care or Ofsted recognised equivalent
• Experience in residential childcare
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and professional boundaries
• Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support the team to deliver high-quality care in line with individual care plans
• Provide supervision, guidance, and support to residential care staff
• Oversee and develop care plans with trauma-informed care
• Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager with daily operations and home standards
• Promote safeguarding and ensure procedures are followed
• Build strong relationships with professionals, families and external agencies
• Support training, mentoring and development of staff
• Contribute to home maintenance, records, budgets and reporting systems
