Job summary

Resicare Alliance Children's Care in the UK is seeking a Team Leader to guide Residential Support Workers and ensure safe, child-centred care for looked-after children.

You will lead staff, conduct supervisions, support recruitment and training, manage rotas, uphold safeguarding, and build strong partnerships with families and professionals. Level 3 Diploma and Level 5 leadership qualifications preferred; enhanced DBS; driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS check valid for working with children and young people.
• Ability to lead, supervise and motivate a team while maintaining professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support Residential Support Workers with guidance and supervision.
• Conduct regular supervisions and performance reviews.
• Model professional, reflective and consistent practice for the team.
• Assist with recruitment, induction and training of new staff.
• Support rota planning to meet children's care needs.
• Deliver high-quality, child-centred care alongside the team.
• Build trusting relationships with children and celebrate achievements.
• Promote safeguarding culture and follow care plans and risk assessments.
