Job summary

BRB Recruit is seeking a Team Leader for a Children’s Residential service in Blackpool and the Fylde. The role requires leading shifts, supporting staff, and maintaining high standards of care to keep children safe and flourishing.

You will work with the management team to ensure a stable, nurturing environment, complete relevant records, and help staff develop their practice while adhering to safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in children's residential care.
• Ability to lead and support staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Able to work a 1 on, 2 off rota.
• Level 4 NVQ/Diploma or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team during shifts.
• Act as a positive role model for staff and young people.
• Support day‑to‑day running of the home.
• Build positive relationships with children and young people.
• Support staff development and practice.
• Maintain safeguarding and care standards.
