Job summary

Aspris is seeking a Residential Support Worker for our March W Children’s Home, caring for five young people aged 13–16 with emotional and behavioural needs. You will help with outings, cooking, and fostering independence in a supportive setting.

A full UK driving licence is essential. We offer CPD, development opportunities and clear progression paths, including NVQ/SVQ enrollment within six months and potential degree-level study.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in caring for children/young people is preferred.
• Commitment to CPD and professional development is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Take young people to visit friends and participate in community activities.
• Assist with everyday activities and self-care tasks.
• Teach cooking and independence skills.
• Contribute to a safe, nurturing environment and build positive relationships with young people and staff.
