Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Residential Care Manager for Rivermere Care Home in Kent. The role leads a team of Care Supervisors to ensure high-quality personal care for residents in a warm, compassionate environment.

You will coordinate assessments, support staff development, and ensure Safe Medication Management and audits are robust. DBS check cost is covered, and UK work eligibility is required. This is a full-time, on-site position within our award-winning team.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or similar industry.
  • Experience in leading a team in a similar care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate the resident assessment process, ensuring that the planned care is accurate and reflected in each individual care plan.
  • Support, guide, and develop their team members.
  • Manage the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer's instructions and is cleaned and stored appropriately after use.
  • Ensure compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures.
  • Undertake Quality Care Spot Checks reporting on the quality of care provided by Care Supervisors, Carers and Senior Carers within their team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Residential Care Manager will be to manage the group of Care Supervisors within the home ensuring that a high-quality delivery of personal care is delivered to our residents. You will be an advocate for all residents, maintaining the best interest in all areas of the resident's wellbeing.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
