Job summary

Jasmine Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant Nights at Orchard Court Care Home in Brigg. You will join a team delivering compassionate personal care, supporting residents with daily activities and promoting independence with dignity and respect.

Shifts are nights (7:30pm–7:30am) on a full-time permanent contract, with 3–4 shifts per week and alternate weekends. Salary is £13.37 per hour plus incentives, with extensive staff benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Residing 20 minutes or less near to the care home.
• Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• A caring and nurturing attitude.
• Time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Promote resident independence with dignity and respect, supporting physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Complete Daily Charts to 90%+ accuracy in monthly audits.
• Stay 100% current with mandatory training throughout the year.

*Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group*

About Orchard Court Care Home

Orchard Court is located near the centre of Brigg. The home is set around a former coaching inn which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care including dementia care for 39 residents.

Role Responsibilities as a Care Assistant

• You’ll join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
• You’ll be responsible for promoting our resident's independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
• You’ll complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
• Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year.

Role Requirements as a Care Assistant
