Job summary

CrossReach is recruiting a Deputy Manager for our residential care home in Scotland. You will work with the Service Manager to ensure safe, effective and person-centred care, guiding the care team and upholding high standards of practice.

You will bring senior-level care experience and SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare; ideally also progressing toward SVQ Level 4. The role requires Protecting Vulnerable Groups and Scottish Social Services Council registration, with shifts as

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare required.
• Experience at a senior level within a care service.
• Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager with the safe, effective and efficient running of the home.
• Take responsibility for the service when the Service Manager is unavailable.
• Lead, support and supervise members of the care team.
• Help ensure care is delivered in line with residents’ individual needs, choices and care plans.
• Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and professional practice.
• Support staff development and promote positive teamwork across the service.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and other professionals.
• Contribute to quality assurance and the continued development of the service.
