Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Buyer / Materials Buyer for a residential housebuilder in Wimborne, Dorset. You will manage material enquiries, price negotiations, and create material schedules from drawings, supporting the estimating team with supplier input.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential housebuilding purchasing and supply chain.
• Ability to price and negotiate with suppliers for materials.
• Competence in interpreting drawings to extract materials lists.
• Support to estimating with pricing and supplier data.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials and manage day-to-day enquiries for live sites.
• Price materials, negotiate with suppliers, and issue CVRs.
• Produce material schedules from construction drawings.
• Support_estimators with pricing and supplier input.
