Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a reliable General Labourer for an immediate start on a fast-paced residential new build in Mayfield (EH22). You will work with the Site Manager and trades to keep operations safe and on schedule, assisting with material movement and site upkeep.

Role requires CSCS card, prior labouring experience on construction sites, and full PPE. Based in or commutable to Mayfield/Dalkeith/South Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is essential.
• Previous site labourer experience on construction sites preferred (new build housing).
• Full PPE provided (hard hat, high-vis, steel cap boots).
• Based in or commutable to Mayfield/Dalkeith/South Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

• Assist sub-contractors and site trades with moving and distributing materials across active plots.
• Sweep timber frame/brickwork plots, clear construction waste, and load skips.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised site in line with health and safety procedures.
• Assist site management with unloading and managing deliveries.
• Carry out general manual labour and physical duties as directed across the development.
