Job summary

AZTRUM in Reading is seeking an Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a close-knit practice working on residential projects. You will contribute across multiple RIBA stages, develop design proposals, and assist with planning; you'll gain responsibility and progress your career in a supportive team.

The role requires Part 2 qualification in Architecture with UK practice experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.

Qualifications

• Part 2 qualification in Architecture and UK practice experience.
• Experience working on UK Residential projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Residential projects across multiple RIBA stages.
• Produce design proposals, planning drawings and technical information.
• Assist with planning applications, Building Regulations packages and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors throughout project delivery.
• Develop practical design solutions that meet client and project requirements.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and design team meetings.
• Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements.
• Support delivery of projects from concept to completion.
