Job summary

Design Consulting GmbH in Crewe, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Resident Project Leader – Body in White & Closures to support current model production activities for a premium automotive manufacturer. The role is on-site in Crewe.

You will coordinate BIW structures, platforms, fenders, bonnet and closures, lead cross-functional teams, manage production issues and engineering changes, and present status to customer management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Bentley automotive project experience.
• Strong BIW and/or vehicle closures expertise.
• Familiarity with VW Group development standards and systems.
• Proven cross-functional project coordination.
• English fluency, C1 or higher.
• Willingness to work on-site in Crewe.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIW and Closures engineering activities.
• Manage current model production issues and changes.
• Support root-cause analysis and solutions.
• Lead weekly project meetings and cross-functional reviews.
• Present status to customer management and ensure milestones.
• Oversee BoM updates, permits, releases and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with customer processes and quality standards.
