Job summary

Runwood Homes is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to plan and run engaging activities for residents. The role focuses on mentoring staff on how to interact with residents and enhancing daily life with meaningful, person-centred moments.

You will help uphold residents' dignity and encourage their individuality through friendly, sociable engagement. Prior care home exposure is a plus, with a supportive induction and training program provided.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a care home setting is a plus.
• Experience in organising activities or leading groups is beneficial.
• Able to inspire and lead others with a positive, forward-thinking attitude.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute engaging activities tailored to residents.
• Mentor and train staff on engaging with residents.
