Overview

Resident Liaison Officer - Social Housing Retrofit Works

Based in Battersea

Full time, permanent

£35,000 + package

Howells are working with a leading main contractor to find a successful and proactive Resident Liaison Officer to join their team delivering Retrofit Works in Social Housing in Battersea.

Responsibilities
  • Develop positive relationships with residents to provide information and support during refurbishment, maintenance and major works programmes.
  • Prevent and limit dissatisfaction, and resolve complaints and queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Work on planned maintenance projects and Decent Homes programme experience (preferred).
  • Hold a full clean driving licence with own vehicle.
  • Conduct pre-entry visits and company inductions.
  • Collect tenancy agreements and approval forms.
  • Visit tenants in their homes and advise them on when and what work is being carried out.
  • Act as the main point of contact and address problems or queries from tenants.
  • Contact neighbourhood housing associations and establish working relations with them.
  • Visit properties that are being refurbished with potential tenants and advise them on completion dates.
  • Attend and chair tenant forum meetings to inform tenants about works being carried out.
