Job summary

KINGSFORD REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced civil/structural engineer to lead on-site supervision of high-rise residential projects.

You will manage a team of Resident Technical Officers, coordinate with engineers and stakeholders, and ensure adherence to drawings, specs, and regulatory standards. Applicants should hold a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, be RE-registered with IES/ACES (as required), and have 8+ years in similar roles.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised university.
• Registered Resident Engineer (RE) with IES and/or ACES, subject to project requirements.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a Resident Engineer, preferably in precast high-rise residential building projects.
• Experience leading and managing a team of RTOs.
• Good knowledge of Singapore building regulations, BCA requirements, and civil and structural construction practices.
• Experience in Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Resident Technical Officers (RTOs) to ensure effective site supervision and inspection of civil and structural works.
• Liaise with the Main Contractor’s Engineers, Supervisors, and relevant project stakeholders on site matters.
• Oversee inspections of piling, ERSS, deep excavation, precast concrete, and other structural works.
• Ensure all construction works comply with approved drawings, contract specifications, approved shop drawings, method statements, and applicable BCA regulations.
• Monitor construction progress, inspection schedules, and the performance of RTOs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to RTOs and coordinate the resolution of site issues with relevant parties.
• Ensure proper documentation of site inspections, progress reports, and non-compliance issues.
• Oversee overall site supervision activities to ensure construction quality and compliance with statutory requirements.
