The work is across the South West and South Wales, with potential sites in Melksham (Wiltshire), Iron Acton (Bristol), Chickerill (Weymouth), Bramley (Reading), Cilfynydd (Pontpridd), Upper Boat (Cardiff), Imperial Park (Newport), or Pembroke.

Responsibilities include:

1. Setting out civil works with GPS equipment (Leica or Trimble) and AutoCAD for foundations, drainage, ducting, earthworks, roads, fencing.
2. Conducting slump tests and preparing Inspection and Test Plans.
3. Reviewing and advising on Temporary Works.
4. Preparing handover documents and H&S files.
5. Resolving on-site design issues and managing change control (Technical Queries/RFI).
6. Coordinating as-built drawings.
7. Attending design and coordination meetings.

Qualifications and experience required:

1. Civil Engineering degree, HNC, NVQ Level 5, or equivalent.
2. Experience in electrical transmission or distribution at 33kV or above.
3. CSCS card.
4. Full UK driving licence.
5. Familiarity with BS5975 Temporary Works.
6. Confidence with GPS tools like Leica and Trimble, and CAD.

This role may suit a Design Engineer, M&E Engineer with 132kV experience, Project Engineer, Electrical Estimator, or Tendering Engineer.
