Qualifications

  • Fully registered with the GMC and holding a current license to practice.
  • NHS-trained in Intensive Care Medicine or Anaesthesia to ST3 level or above.
  • Current ALS certificate.

Job description

There are opportunities for additional shifts by joining our Bank (internal locums).

We are looking for a Resident Doctor in Critical Care to join our fantastic medical team at The Princess Grace Hospital, located in London.

While our service is consultant-led, we empower our Resident Doctors, allowing your role to expand as much as you wish. You will have opportunities to be involved in audits, projects, and quality improvement initiatives, as well as join internal networks to influence service delivery, patient satisfaction, clinical governance, or MDT meetings. This environment fosters networking, sharing best practices, and expanding your knowledge.

Main duties of the job

What you'll bring:

  • Fully registered with the GMC and holding a current license to practice.
  • An additional postgraduate qualification such as FRCA, FICM, MRCEM, MRCP, or equivalent is desirable.
  • NHS-trained in Intensive Care Medicine or Anaesthesia to ST3 level or above, or equivalent.
  • Ability to manage complex airways competently without supervision and support others.
  • Ability to teach and mentor junior doctors.
  • Must hold a current ALS certificate.
