You will work closely with the Cook and catering team to support the delivery of high-quality meals for residents, creating menus, plating up, and ensuring mealtimes are enjoyable and respectful of individual needs.

You will handle practical kitchen tasks, respect cultural and religious dietary requirements, and contribute to a warm, compassionate dining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment within a care home or similar setting.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes.
• Warm, approachable, and respectful with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with menu creation and meal planning.
• Plate meals and arrange trolleys for serving.
• Ensure mealtimes run smoothly and inclusively.
• Support residents with personal care during meals.
