Job summary

Pharmacyupdate is seeking a compassionate care professional to assist residents in daily living within a supportive environment.

You will help with mobility, eating and drinking, and may administer medication if trained. Continuous monitoring of physical and emotional wellbeing, promoting independence, and encouraging social participation are key responsibilities. You will work closely with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and residents’ families to safeguard and support vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with mobility and moving & handling procedures.
• Support residents with eating and drinking where required.
• Administer medication (if trained and authorised).
• Monitor and record residents physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Promote independence and encourage participation in social activities.
• Safeguard vulnerable adults and report any concerns immediately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families.
