We are seeking dedicated Care Practitioners to join our team. You’ll deliver holistic care, support residents’ daily living, and contribute to a friendly, respectful workplace with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• A passion for providing elderly care
• Ability to relate to and care for older people in a sensitive manner
• Integrity and a compassionate nature
• Understanding of and adherence to Caron Group’s ethos
• Aged 18 or above
• Due to safeguarding minors, the employment of individuals aged 16 and 17 is not permitted for roles requiring direct personal care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, undressing, toileting, bathing, and feeding.
• Provide adequate and appropriate care for residents confined to bed.
• Take appropriate levels of care when handling residents' property.
• Help residents with mobility problems and use of personal aids and equipment.
• Promote residents' mental and physical wellbeing through conversation and activities.
• Ensure safety by preventing damage to property and assisting with daily tasks.
• Make beds, change linens, tidy rooms and perform cleaning duties.
• Inspect and repair residents' clothing.
• Assist in setting tables and serving meals.
• Answer emergency bells, greet visitors, and participate in meetings and training.
• Make written observations of residents.
• Attend mandatory training as directed by Managers.
• Practise safe moving and handling and assess risk.
