Job summary

Beaumont Care Homes in Newtownabbey is seeking a Domestic Assistant on a bank basis to help maintain a clean, safe and homely environment for residents. You will join a caring team, carrying out cleaning duties across communal and private areas while following health and safety policies.

Full training is provided, and the role offers generous holiday entitlement, free uniform, free onsite parking and a Nest pension.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

carry out all of their duties to ensure that we always provide a high level of cleanliness
understand the cleaning requirements of differing communal and individual locations in the home along with the equipment and the properties of cleaning materials required to fulfil the tasks
develop positive relationships with residents, staff, residents’ families and visitors
help to support residents to maintain their independence and sense of value
work safely within company policies, seeking advice and guidance when necessary
your caring nature and positive attitude, will allow you to give the best possible service to the residents in our care
as a team player working well with others you enjoy communication, provide the energy and hard work needed for a changing environment.
