Job summary

Hawksmoor is seeking a Reservationist for a fixed-term Christmas season. You will welcome guests, manage reservations and waiting lists, and coordinate seating to ensure seamless service. This is an active, non-desk role that places you at the heart of the guest experience.

You will work as part of a close-knit team, with full training provided. Prior hospitality or customer-facing experience is helpful but not essential, and a warm, friendly approach is key to success.

Reservationist Full time (Fixed term contract)

As a Reservationist on a fixed term contracted at Hawksmoor you will be joining us for our busy christmas season over a 3 month time period and you’ll be right at the heart of the guest experience. This is not a desk-based role. You’ll be welcoming guests, managing reservations and waiting lists, coordinating seating and cloakroom, and supporting the floor team to keep service running smoothly. You’ll be a key part of how we deliver warm, generous hospitality from the very first hello.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests warmly and confidently on arrival
• Manage reservations, walk-ins and waiting lists during service
• Seat guests and manage the flow of the restaurant to support smooth service
• Oversee cloakroom and guest arrivals during busy periods
• Communicate clearly with managers, floor teams and the kitchen
• Support the floor team by helping set and reset tables and assist service when needed
• Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone and email with care and professionalism
