Job summary

Hawksmoor is seeking a Reservationist for a fixed-term Christmas season role in Greater London. You will warmly welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, coordinate cloakroom, and support the floor team to ensure seamless service.

This is a guest-facing, fast-paced position requiring hospitality flair and teamwork. Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience is helpful but not essential; full training will be provided as part of joining Hawksmoor's standards of warm, generous

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage arrivals.
• Handle reservations, walk-ins and waiting lists.
• Seat guests and coordinate dining flow for smooth service.
• Oversee cloakroom and guest arrivals during busy periods.
• Communicate clearly with managers, floor teams and kitchen.
• Assist on the floor by resetting tables and supporting service.
• Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone and email.

Reservationist Full time (Fixed term contract)

As a Reservationist on a fixed term contracted at Hawksmoor you will be joining us for our busy christmas season over a 3 month time period and you’ll be right at the heart of the guest experience. This is not a desk-based role. You’ll be welcoming guests, managing reservations and waiting lists, coordinating seating and cloakroom, and supporting the floor team to keep service running smoothly. You’ll be a key part of how we deliver warm, generous hospitality from the very first hello.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests warmly and confidently on arrival
• Manage reservations, walk-ins and waiting lists during service
• Seat guests and manage the flow of the restaurant to support smooth service
• Oversee cloakroom and guest arrivals during busy periods
• Communicate clearly with managers, floor teams and the kitchen
• Support the floor team by helping set and reset tables and assist service when needed
• Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone and email with care and professionalism
