Are the ‘face of Novotel Cambridge North’, extending a warm welcome to our guests, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do, while adding your personal touch to their stay.

A little more information:

To help you navigate your role and support your success, you will be trained in all front-of-house related functions and the safety of the property and people.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Check daily reservations from all platforms (Accor, Booking.com, Expedia, FITs, etc.)
  2. Ensure all backups, comments, payments are set accordingly
  3. Check OTAs commissions daily
  4. Submit weekly commissions on Fastcom
  5. Update various trackers daily (e.g., No show, Cxl, etc.)
  6. Manage reservations and booking inquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face
  7. Be an expert on the business bedrooms and events to handle initial inquiries confidently
  8. Arrange and deliver hotel show-arounds professionally and knowledgeably
  9. Support group bookings throughout the process and liaise with other departments as required
  10. Be the first point of contact for all client inquiries regarding accommodation and meetings/events
  11. Provide outstanding administrative support to coordinate events, including corporate bookings, private functions, and weddings
  12. Arrange and conduct hotel show-arounds to promote accommodation and meeting space sales
  13. Build rapport with key clients to understand their requirements and identify future opportunities
  14. Provide detailed function plans to hotel operations to ensure client requirements are met
  15. Maintain the accuracy of the in-house reservations system
  16. Respond to all booking inquiries promptly via telephone, email, venue, or RFP
  17. Knowledge of Opera Cloud is preferable
  18. Plan, coordinate, and execute group reservations, conferences, meetings, and events for a seamless client experience
  19. Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and provide tailored solutions
  20. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all event aspects are aligned
  21. Manage event logistics, including room setup, audiovisual requirements, and catering
  22. Oversee event budgets to ensure delivery within financial parameters
  23. Provide exceptional customer service throughout event planning and execution
  24. Handle last-minute changes professionally and efficiently
  25. Conduct post-event evaluations for continuous improvement
  26. Be available to work week and weekend days, including early and late shifts
