THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITY

We opened the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool, The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery, in May 2023, revitalizing this historic building. Our Heartists aim to create memorable, heartfelt moments, sharing unique stories from the past and immersing themselves in our hospitality to create their own tales of MGallery magic. The hotel features 179 stunning bedrooms in a landmark of the city, with an iconic clock tower and bells setting the tempo. The property offers various restaurants, bars, and a state-of-the-art spa sanctuary, providing a perfect setting for guests to enjoy their time and embark on their own magical journey.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESERVATION AND EVENT SALES AGENT AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY

What you'll be doing...

Upon entering our hotel, guests are “wowed” by the property's soul, authenticity, and passion of our Heartist team. The Reservations team sets the tone for guests' experience, offering expert guidance to make every touchpoint meaningful and memorable. As a Reservation and Event Sales Agent, you will listen carefully, record accurately, and adapt to the changing needs of a diverse clientele, including groups, agents, individuals, families, corporate clients, bridal parties, weddings, Spa & F&B bookings, VIPs, OTAs, third-party channels, and stakeholders.

This role is contracted for 40 hours per week, with varied shifts over 5 days out of 7, between 8 am and 7 pm (Mon-Fri) and 9 am to 5:30 pm (Sat-Sun).

What We Need From You

We hire mostly on personality & potential, but here are some requirements...

• A positive, can-do attitude and welcoming demeanor, able to communicate politely and efficiently with guests, agents, and third parties, adhering to 5-star, Accor, and MGallery standards.
• Ability to promote hotel services and maximize sales and profitability, including events, rooms, facilities, and promotions.
• Capability to present and showcase the hotel during meetings and tours.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in information, contracts, and function sheets.
• Analytical skills to maintain reports, client details, and records.
• Adherence to payment and deposit policies, ensuring correct system postings.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills across all mediums.
• At least 2 years of current reservation experience in a fast-paced hotel environment, preferably with an Accor brand.
