Our client, a prominent player in the defence sector, is seeking a dedicated Research Engineer to join their team. This permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise engineering skills within defence research and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute at the early stages of the product lifecycle by investigating and evaluating advanced technologies for communication systems, including next-generation algorithms, software-defined radio, quantum and optical communications, and AI.

Experience:

Experience in research and innovative idea generation through industry, academia, or both. Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating commitment to research objectives. Skills in technical investigations, complex problem assessment, and proposing design solutions are valued.
