We are seeking a Researcher from the Humanities/Social Sciences disciplines to join the Wellcome Trust funded discovery project After the End: Lived experiences and aftermaths of Diseases, Disasters and Drugs in global health. The project explores issues related to time justice, waiting, memory, care, trauma, and concepts of 'end', 'right time', and 'lateness' in relation to diseases, disasters, and health resources. It is interdisciplinary, drawing on history, anthropology, law, sociology, ethics, literary studies, cognitive psychology, and public health, using methodologies like poetry, photography, immersive XR, and film to produce creative outputs. The role involves developing and delivering research objectives, collaborating with international partners, reviewing literature, conducting qualitative research, drafting papers, and supporting methodological development. Candidates should hold or be close to completing a PhD/DPhil in a relevant discipline, have research experience, work independently, and possess excellent communication skills. The position is full-time (part-time considered), fixed-term for 2 years.
