Job Description
About the role

The successful candidate will provide essential technical support for the Maini, Pallett, Zhuang, and Peppa groups, particularly in processing and utilizing primary tissue samples. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team within UCL and with external partners, focusing on liver immunology and related fields.

The position is available immediately for an initial period of 1 year, with potential extension based on project success, funding, and priorities.

About you
  • Possess a BSc or equivalent in Biochemistry, Immunology, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields, or a Technical Assistant degree, with laboratory experience.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and a commitment to scientific excellence.
  • Excellent scientific communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and approach problems multidisciplinary.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
  • Able to interact effectively with diverse individuals and maintain detailed laboratory records.
  • Willing to work outside normal hours, including short-notice flexibility, due to the nature of working with patient-derived samples.
