Job summary

A leading NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Administrator to support research governance activities across its hospitals. To provide comprehensive, high quality and efficient administrative support for the Trust’s research governance activities across all its hospitals; in particular provide the necessary administrative support for the Trust’s site set-up system for its extensive portfolio of research studies.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will administer the research study registration, assessment, arrangement and confirmation of internal arrangements. This entails evaluating each research submission to ensure completeness. Ensuring all study reviews, approvals, amendments, study closure notices and annual progress reports are processed.

The post holder will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining information onto the research information management system and the EPR in accordance with the standard operating procedures and work instructions to maintain a high-quality data source.

The post holder will administer the national Research Passport system on behalf of the Trust

Applicants should be qualified to at least GCSE/O level Maths and English and educated to at least NVQ 4 or equivalent.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in using Microsoft excel and have excellent key board skills.

We are looking for candidates with good organisation and communication skills; who can work well both in a team and using their own initiative and with excellent attention to detail.

The vacancy is based at the Oxford Road Campus but may be required to work across MFT sites.
