We are recruiting a motivated Research Study Assistant to join the Morris Research Group and support the ExPRESS study.
You will work with the atypical parkinsonism research team to coordinate ExPRESS, liaising with participating study sites across England, Wales, and Scotland. You will act as the main contact for the study and collaborate with other NIHR/MRC funded projects within the Rare Disease Research Network, participating in activities to promote research into rare diseases.
Your responsibilities include disseminating information about the ExPRESS study, increasing patient engagement by working with the Rare Disease Research UK Network, engaging with charities and patient groups, and developing patient and public involvement activities.
This position is available immediately and is funded by grants awarded to Professor Huw Morris for an initial period of one year.

You will have an Honours degree in Neuroscience or a relevant discipline, with research experience in an academic setting, and excellent data analysis and writing skills. Strong communication, project management, time management, and interpersonal skills are essential. You should be able to work independently, problem-solve, and act on your initiative.
This role does not qualify for a Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. UCL cannot sponsor individuals requiring the right to work in the UK for this position.
The starting salary ranges from £38,000 to £41,000 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
