Job summary

City St George’s, University of London invites applications for a Research Software Engineer to join the Engineering Department, working on the National Tunnelling Data Hub in collaboration with HS2. This is a pivotal role contributing to a modern, web-based data repository environment.

You will design, develop and document a web-based Data Repository, including back-end services, APIs and front-end applications, using Python and/or JavaScript, FastAPI, SQL and time-series databases, Docker and

Qualifications

• Design, develop and document a web-based Data Repository.
• Collaborate with HS2 stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with Python/JavaScript, FastAPI, SQL and time-series databases is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and document a web-based Data Repository, including back-end services, APIs and front-end components.
