About the role

You will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, production-ready software to support innovative research projects in health data research. Day to day, you will design, develop and maintain secure platforms, and create user-friendly applications that enable researchers to use health data at scale. You will work closely with our collaborators to ensure our digital tools meet the highest standards of reliability, reproducibility, and security.

About the team

You will join a collaborative and growing health informatics team working at the cutting edge of digital research. You will contribute to a supportive environment where good engineering practice is shared, and your ideas help shape future research infrastructure.

About you

You will have experience developing full-stack applications or data platforms, strong programming skills, and an interest in supporting high-impact health research. You should have a solid understanding of good software engineering practices, version control, testing, and deployment. Experience working in research or health data contexts would be an advantage but is not essential.
