We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalizing your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI-generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.
At UHS we’re committed to providing a flexible working environment where possible. Whether you are balancing family, study, or your wellbeing with your career, we want to support you so you can help our patients.
At UHS, we proudly champion individuality, recognizing that outstanding care is only possible with a diverse, inclusive team. Many of these studies are clinical trials and are using ground-breaking approaches to treat patients diagnosed with cancer. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all stages of study delivery from set-up and planning, recruitment, intervention delivery and data collection.
We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse who is organised, self-motivated, and can work autonomously and aspires to further their career in clinical research. You will ideally have experience in clinical research, though this is not essential for the role if you have significant clinical experience. Full research training will be given; we have an excellent induction and ongoing education programme. You will be involved in all aspects of the research process from study start-up, recruitment and delivery, to study close and will manage a small portfolio of studies. Team-working skills, flexibility and drive will be required to ensure the success of this post. You will need to have an excellent level of written and verbal communication skills. Good IT skills are essential. You will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, implementing studies to translate scientific discoveries into improved patient outcomes.
