Job summary

Our Future Health is seeking a Research Scientist for our Health Questionnaires squad to advance psychometrics and questionnaire validation. You will validate screening tools, study response patterns and potential biases, and work with a questionnaire scientist to develop new measures.

You will design research plans, program surveys in Qualtrics and analyze data using R or Python, supporting governance and ethical approvals as needed.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc with significant research experience.
• Strong background in psychometrics and questionnaire validation.
• Experience applying research in questionnaire settings beyond standard validity.
• Ability to communicate methods and findings to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver research projects from planning to insight and recommendations.
• Lead scientific validation of screening questionnaires including reliability and validity.
• Investigate response patterns, data quality, and potential biases.
• Collaborate with a questionnaire scientist to test novel measures.
• Prepare research plans and protocols with clear questions and needs.
• Select methods, samples and recruitment approaches for each study.
• Design and oversee surveys and experiments, managing timelines and quality.
• Program surveys using Qualtrics and analyze data with R or Python.
• Apply descriptive statistics, regression, chi-square, ANOVA and cross-condition comparisons.
• Document research processes and decisions clearly for stakeholders.
• Present results and recommendations concisely for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage multiple projects independently while informing stakeholders.
