Join a leading pharmaceutical organisation as a Research Scientist in Analytical Development. You'll be responsible for method development and performing analytical testing using cutting-edge technology, while contributing to the innovative field of biosimilars. Qualifications

  • Industry experience in analytical development highly desired.
  • First-hand experience in biosimilar development a plus.
  • Experience optimizing HPLC and LCMS methods is advantageous.

Job Description

As a Research Scientist - Analytical Development based in North-West London you will:

  • Carry out method development, qualification and analytical method transfer activities across a range of projects
  • Perform a range of analytical methods to support process development and characterisation
  • Utilise methods such as Chromatography (HPLC, UPLC), Spectroscopy (UV-Vis, Plate Reader, CD, Fluorescence, FTIR), capillary-based (cIEF, CE-SDS) or Mass Spectrometry.
  • Complete and review laboratory documentation accurately
  • Report and present results to appropriate audiences
  • Take ownership and perform troubleshooting of relevant equipment operation, calibration report and maintenance

The Successful Applicant

To be successful you will have:

  • BSc or higher in relevant subject with industry experience in analytical development
  • First-hand experience working on biosimilar development or development of biologics
  • Experience developing and optimising methods (predominantly HPLC and LCMS) highly advantageous
