Responsibilities include direct line management of clinical trials coordinators, data management, administrative functions, and delivering tools and processes to support effective research portfolio management.

The post holder will be involved in the entire clinical trial pathway, including facilitating research feasibility assessments, ensuring efficient setup, initiation, and delivery of surgical research studies. Standardisation and optimisation of quality, financial, and data systems are also key aspects of this role.

Candidates should hold a scientific or business degree, or possess relevant experience in scientific and medical research. Previous management and leadership experience in clinical research is essential. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical trials administration, coordination, data management, and a solid understanding of GCP, clinical governance, and relevant legislation.
