The University of Oxford is seeking a committed and experienced Research Policy Manager to join the Research Strategy and Policy Unit in Research Services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development of research-related policies, support key committees, and act as the institutional adviser on research integrity.
Contract: Full Time (Part Time considered at a minimum of 0.8 FTE), Fixed Term (3 years)

The post is within the Research Strategy and Policy Unit (RSPU), which manages research strategy, policy, evaluation, and institutional research information.
You will develop and maintain research-related policies, oversee existing policies, and convene key research committees. You will handle concerns about research conduct, working with HR and the Registrar’s office. You will engage proactively with your responsibilities and collaborate across departments.
You should have a strong understanding of research integrity and ethics, experience handling complex issues, and knowledge of research challenges. Skills in policy development, committee convening, and communication are essential. Knowledge of UK research policy frameworks is advantageous.
This role qualifies for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa. The University will cover visa costs and NHS surcharge for eligible applicants.
