Lakeside Healthcare is seeking a friendly Research Patient Services Advisor to support the Research Department. You will assist and direct patients to the right service and provide high-quality administrative support to the team.
The role is fixed-term for 12 months and applicants must demonstrate their right to work in the UK. Experience in GP surgery or research is desirable, with strong customer service and call centre skills.
We are looking for a friendly and organised Research Patient Services Advisorto support our Research Department. You will be responsible for receiving, assisting and directing patients, ensuring they access the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective manner, while providing high-quality administrative support to the team.
Please note that this role is offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Involvement in Research is apart of the NHS Constitution and we want to run high quality, safe, effectiveand relevant studies for our patients to participate in. This may be cuttingedge clinical trials offering new treatments not yet available on the NHSthrough the Lakeside Research Unit for studies on long-term conditions where weuse licensed medications which are not yet available locally.
Wehave a far ranging portfolio of studies and we are looking to expand our team.
Facilitate effective communication when receiving, assistingand directing patients, ensuring the patient accesses the appropriate serviceor healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Provide general assistance to the practice team andproject a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either inperson or via the telephone.
