A prominent NHS trust in Slough is seeking a dedicated Research Nurse - Clinical to join their Research and Innovation department. The role involves managing clinical trial patients, recruiting participants, and ensuring quality service delivery. Candidates should be NMC registered and possess excellent communication skills, with previous NHS experience preferred. Full training will be offered, and a flexible approach is essential.
We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and dedicated Research Nurse - Clinical to join the Research and Innovation department at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will work with a vibrant team of research nurses and practitioners delivering a broad portfolio of research studies. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the assessment and management of the care pathways for patients and carers participating in clinical trials. This will include the recruitment, education and monitoring of trial patients and the collection and documentation of accurate data.
Previous research experience is desirable but not essential. Full training and supervision is provided. Experience in any of the specialty areas such as cancer, urology, critical care or midwifery would be of advantage.
The role is based at Wexham Park Hospital but will involve some cross site working to support delivery teams at other sites of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
