We are looking for an experienced Research Nurse to join the East of England Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) team based in the Cambridge area to cover a period of extended leave.
You will work in Primary Care and in other out-of-hospital settings as required to support and champion research across the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough region.
You will be managing a wide-ranging portfolio of research studies, recruiting participants, receiving informed consent, conducting study procedures, and collecting baseline and follow-up data in accordance with ICH GCP guidelines. You will work from the office and/or home with regular travel across the Cambridge and Peterborough area and throughout the East of England region as required.
You must be an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Supporting and promoting involvement in commercial and non-commercial research studies on the NIHR portfolio taking place in Primary Care and out-of-hospital settings for the East of England Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN).
Key responsibilities include identification of eligible persons, provision of information, informed consent, and ongoing support for participants. Coordination and carrying out study assessments, treatment, follow-up, and data collection according to specific clinical trial protocols, ICH Good Clinical Practice, and other relevant legislation.
You will be a member of the RRDN team based in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area. They will work collaboratively with the team and Primary Care and out-of-hospital setting teams across a range of sites throughout Cambridgeshire. This post requires the ability for regular independent travel within the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area and outside the region as required.
