Are you looking to enhance your clinical skills while developing into a senior nursing leader? We are seeking band 6 senior staff nurses to join our enthusiastic T08 Team, which is taking on a new and exciting challenge. T08 is a busy 43-bedded acute medical ward specializing in Infectious Diseases, Respiratory Medicine, and Rheumatology. Due to expansion, we seek staff eager to develop their clinical skills and contribute to improving patient care.

T08 ward is led by Ward Sisters and Deputies. Staff work across the entire ward, which has bay beds and side rooms, including Negative Pressure rooms for patients with infections like TB, VHF, and those in the Tropical Diseases inpatient service. The ward cares for patients with acute respiratory conditions, including those requiring Non-Invasive Ventilation and Tracheostomies.

Main duties of the job

Our team prides itself on support and collaboration, working with specialist Consultants and Nurses. We support career development through study days and further education, including courses like HDU and Tropical Nursing diploma.

Applicants must have at least one year of experience as a band 5 in an acute hospital inpatient setting.
