Job summary

IQVIA Holdings Inc. operates MEU Ltd, a leading UK contract research organization. This role supports Phase I-IV clinical studies by performing complex nursing procedures, coordinating care, and safeguarding volunteer well-being.

We seek a Bachelor-educated adult nurse with current license, 1 year experience, and strong English communication. You will use Word, Excel and PowerPoint to document data and communicate findings, working at our Manchester research facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in adult nursing and active nursing license.
• 1 year nursing experience; recent graduates welcome.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of complex clinical procedures (ECG, phlebotomy, spirometry, vital signs, cannulation, cardiac telemetry).
• Collect, record and report clinical data according to the protocol.
• Support study sites in coordinating Phase I–IV clinical studies per SOPs, GCP and regulations.
• Safeguard well-being of subjects and maintain high nursing standards.
• Orientate volunteers to study purpose, procedures and timelines.

Job description

Perform a variety of complex clinical procedures on subjects including but not limited to ECG, sample collection including phlebotomy, spirometry, vital signs, cannulation, and cardiac telemetry monitoring. Collect, record, and report clinical data according to procedures outlined in the protocol. Support study sites in the coordination of Phase I-IV clinical research studies, ensuring that studies are carried out according to protocol, standard operating procedures, GCP, and other applicable guidelines and regulations. Update and maintain skills, training and knowledge of current best nursing practice and topics related to clinical research. Safeguard the well-being of the subjects and ensure and maintain high standards. Assist staff, both registered and unregistered in Nursing Practices and the delivery of care to the volunteer. Orientate volunteers to the study and the site including the purpose of the study, procedures and practical issues such as timelines for visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in adult nursing.
• Current active nursing license.
• 1 year experience, recent graduates welcome.
• Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language.
