Job summary

The Blavatnik School of Government, based at Oxford, is recruiting a Research Manager to lead new workstreams under the What Works Hub for Global Education. You will collaborate with donors, partners and field implementers to design evaluations and translate results into actionable policy.

You will hold a Master’s degree and bring significant experience in international development, economics, or public policy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant subject.
• Experience in international development, economics, political science, public policy, or related field.
• Experience managing complex research projects and data analysis.
• Ability to build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage innovative new workstreams with WWHGE funding partners.
• Collaborate with in-country implementers to identify data collection opportunities.
• Develop evaluation approaches and translate findings into practical policy improvements.
• Oversee Research Assistants and contribute to high-quality research papers and policy products.
• Support international travel and donor engagement to inform education policy.
