Job Description:

Job Title: Manager – Research & Consulting, Financial Services

Location: London with hybrid working

Salary: £50,000-65,000 + bonus and benefits

Join a global team delivering data that influences decisions in banking, payments, and retail tech.

This role is suitable for someone experienced in market report/market intelligence agencies and/or traditional market research agencies.

A Manager level here is equivalent to Research Manager/Senior Manager or Associate Director in traditional market research.

The role involves working across three project types:

  • Published Research: Producing industry reports.
  • Data Services: Managing ongoing, client-specific data and research needs, often with sustained client relationships over a year.
  • Consultancy: Conducting bespoke, client-driven research projects, typically shorter-term and highly interactive.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead bespoke client projects from inception to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Enhance project outputs and operations, balancing cost and quality.
  • Contribute to shaping future products and services with your insights.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in research or consulting.
  • 3+ years managing project teams.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and self-management skills.
  • Strong quantitative research and client relationship skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and keen attention to detail.
