Research Manager/Associate Director | Market Intelligence - Financial

Job Title: Manager – Research & Consulting. Financial Services.

Location: London with hybrid working.

Salary: £50,000-65,000 + bonus and benefits

Be part of a global team delivering data that drives decisions in banking, payments, and retail tech.

This role will suit someone working in a market report/market intelligence agency and/or a traditional market research agency.

A Manager level at this business would be equivalent to Research Manager/Senior Manager or Associate Director level from a traditional market research agency.

The role will involve working across 3 different project types:

  • Published Research: Producing industry reports.
  • Data Services: Ongoing, client-specific data and research needs, often involving sustained client relationships over the course of a year.
  • Consultancy: Bespoke, client-driven research projects, typically shorter-term and more intensive in terms of client interaction.

What you’ll do:

  1. Own and drive bespoke client projects from concept to delivery.
  2. Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  3. Improve project outputs and operations while managing cost and quality.
  4. Help shape future products and services with your insight.

What you bring:

  1. 5+ years in research/consulting.
  2. 3+ years managing project teams.
  3. Top-notch communication, critical thinking & self-management.
  4. Strong quantitative research skills and client relationship skills.
  5. A collaborative mindset and a sharp eye for detail.
