A leading research institution in Cambridge is looking for a Research Laboratory Technician to support experimental work in plant gene regulatory networks. Responsibilities include maintaining plant growth, preparing bacterial cultures, and analyzing plasmid DNA. The position is fixed-term for 3 years. Applicants should be able to work independently and have a keen attention to detail.
The Department of Plant Sciences is seeking to appoint a Research Laboratory Technician to work in the Patron group. The successful candidate will carry out experimental work to engineer plant gene regulatory networks and metabolism. More information about the lab is available at patronlab.org. The successful candidate will provide support for research projects and work closely with postdoctoral Researchers Associates to deliver project aims. The role will require ability to set up experiments under minimal supervision with due care and attention.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
