POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you a passionate gamer with a background in research? SEGA is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Research Executive to join our Consumer Insights team based in London. This role is instrumental in helping SEGA’s global publishing and development teams make informed, data-driven decisions through expertly designed research initiatives. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including custom survey design and syndicated data platforms. This role requires a confident & passionate researcher with a keen interest in a range of methodologies, who can carry out research projects from design through to analysis and reporting of insights to key stakeholders across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support with the design & execution of custom research projects: work with the senior research manager to conduct adhoc research projects, including designing surveys, screeners, discussion guides, and testing stimulus, liaising with external providers and internal stakeholders, analysis & reporting.
  • Manage internally led qualitative research studies: collaborate with studios & recruiters to conduct internal qualitative research projects, including concept testing, marketing asset testing, and playtesting.
  • Lead CRM survey projects: design, develop, and field surveys to our CRM database, managing each project from inception to debrief.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for topical research projects within the industry to inform the business.
  • Evaluate and implement new methodologies and tools to enhance research capabilities.
  • Promote research across the business to increase literacy and impact of insights through relationship building and delivering quality.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Background in Consumer Research: 2-3 years in research with experience in qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Experience in mixed method research studies: survey & discussion guide design, recruitment, data analysis.
  • Experience with syndicated data platforms, including cross-tabulation.
  • Skilled in creating insights-driven and visually engaging PowerPoint presentations.
  • Effective in presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders to understand requirements & objectives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Business Management, or relevant field.
