REPORTING TO: Senior Research Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you a passionate gamer with a background in research? SEGA is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Research Executive to join our Consumer Insights team based in London. This role is instrumental in helping SEGA's global publishing and development teams make informed, data-driven decisions through expertly designed research initiatives. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including custom survey design and syndicated data platforms. This role requires a confident & passionate researcher with a keen interest in a range of methodologies, who can carry out research projects from design through to analysis and reporting of insights to key stakeholders across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the design & execution of custom research projects: work with the senior research manager to conduct adhoc research, including designing surveys, screeners, discussion guides, testing stimuli, liaising with external providers and internal stakeholders, analysis & reporting.
  • Manage internally led qualitative research: collaborate with studios & recruiters for concept testing, marketing asset testing, and playtesting.
  • Lead CRM survey projects: design, develop, and field surveys to our CRM database, managing projects from inception to debrief.
  • Identify and develop topical research projects to inform the business on industry key areas.
  • Evaluate and implement new methodologies and tools to enhance research capabilities.
  • Advocate for research within the business, increasing research literacy and maximizing insights impact through relationship building and delivering quality results.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 2-3 years in consumer research with experience in qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Experience in mixed-method research, including survey & discussion guide design, recruitment, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with syndicated data platforms and cross-tabulation functionalities.
  • Proficiency in creating insights-driven, visually engaging PowerPoint presentations.
  • Effective at presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand requirements and objectives across the business.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Business Management, or related field.
